Decision Leadership
One definition of a leader is someone who creates a future that is not merely the momentum of the past. When a leader has to make a decision, they face two fundamental issues: finding a good answer and also motivating strong action in the chosen direction.
When the future might be different, motivation for change is rooted in the decision itself and cannot be an afterthought.
While Version 1.0 focused largely on the head—finding a good answer—Decision Quality 2.0 is an upgrade to account for both these dimensions of leadership: the head and the heart.
